EAST WIND WITH POOR OVERNIGHT RH RECOVERY AND STRONG GUSTY WIND
WITH LOW RH FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 621...622...623...
* Impacts: Gusty east to southeast winds, poor relative humidity
recovery, and low relative humidity with high fire danger will
likely contribute to a significant spread of new and existing
fires.
* Affected area: In Southwest OR...Fire Weather Zones 621, 622, and
623, including the southern Oregon Cascades, Siskiyous,
foothills, Rogue Valley and portions of the Applegate Valley.
* Wind: East to southeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Gusts to 40 mph on the ridges.
* Humidity: Daytime humidity as low as 10 percent, with overnight
recoveries of only 15 to 20 percent.

* Strong winds and low relative humidities will cause fires to
